Hopefully this is the last time I'll make these types of posts 🥲 because I know that everyone in the world is experiencing financial and emotional hardship.
Typing this on my notes app because I didn't want to be confined to bsky's text limit. The relationship I have with my parents is fickle. I am housed, I am provided with food, they may not physically abuse me -- but the level of control and exhaustion has always been suffocating and unbearable. I graduated in Psychology against their will in May 2024 (they wanted me to get into nursing; I literally had to keep lying that I was pursuing nursing so they wouldn't blow up on me) and it took me so much time after graduation to land a job. I eventually landed one in November 2024 and things were almost looking up. My dad, ironically enough, was unemployed. He's the type to willingly leave, quit, or get himself fired over petty reasons. My mom has so much hardship with trying to be the breadwinner with an average salary -- we are extremely low middle class. Or whatever line that's under that + above poverty. Despite working hard at my job at the time, my dad still found ways to berate me and cause issues when I'm home. Late March of 2025, my aunt and my dad had an awful altercation -- my aunt was just merely defending me from my dad's harshness. Due to the stress, I left the scene and just started walking away. Both my mother and my aunt called the police on him -- I was so close to getting a restraining order then but due to my weakness and immense pity I had on my mom -- I just quietly left with my aunt to a different relative's house. I was safe in Pennsylvania for 2 weeks -- but it was also quite torturous. My mom still had constant communication with me and my aunt and it caused mental turmoil. She visited a few times until she eventually brought me home under the pretense that "my dad changed, everything will be different now." They did butter up to me but eventually things went back to how they were with me being the household maid/figuratively chained down (honestly, I got even *more* responsibilities when I returned 🥲) It's been more than a year since I came back. I've been trying and trying so hard to land a job but I had no luck. Until this week -- my partner helped me secure a job and I've been pretty much accepted! This is where I require a bit of help. I've been packing as much as I could behind their backs and I'm running out of supplies. I have a check from the government that's about to hit my account, but unfortunately I won't be getting that until 1-2 weeks later. I basically just need at least $100 just so I could comfortably gather supplies such as bubble wrap, boxes, tape, and anything else along those lines. I know a lot of people are iffy about donating without gaining much -- my vGen has been opened if you're interested in art commissions. Otherwise, I have my PayPal and also zelle (though I'll only hand this information to people I trust). Thank you so much for reading, I appreciate it so much. I'm sorry for the crappy wording I've been typing everything with my brain on autopilot.

Everytime i take my ssris i feel so much calmer but its mostly as a consequence of becoming duller and more apathetic in general. I should probably go to CBT or something so i can actually learn proper coping methods without relying on medication but #lol no time or money for that rn
