I have about 100 books to read. I just bought American Hagwon so I could get it sooner, and I decided I'd reread the Ninth House trilogy so I could read Hell Bent and understand what was happening.

How badly does everyone want their own “Heated Rivalry”? Pretty badly, apparently. Netflix’s “Icebreaker” is the latest sign that streamers are ramping up their YA and New Adult romance adaptations, particularly books with enormous built-in fandoms, and suddenly the ice rink itself looks like some of the hottest real estate in television.
Prime Video already has arguably the closest comparison in “Off Campus,” its adaptation of Elle Kennedy’s bestselling college-hockey romance novels.
