Had an idea once for a sort of Pokemon game where instead of collecting cards you collected books by scanning their covers, and so you’d get like Anne of Green Gables vs Dracula or whatnot

This post is making the rounds again for some reason and therefore I feel I must inform you that they’ve hired another one so there are now TWO forensic pathologists working in Iceland.
My favourite fact about Iceland is that we have many, many crime writers but only one forensic pathologist, and he was so busy answering all of their questions that he decided to have a small seminar for writers to get some peace.

It immediately sold out so he had another one that also sold out.

fuck I really resent being made to feel nostalgic about crypto-sceptic trans ally Theresa May
Former PM Baroness Theresa May called for the Govt to get tougher on crypto in the Lords yesterday.

"I am generally a sceptic about crypto assets and cryptocurrencies...I first came across them as Home Secretary when they were the currency of choice for criminal gangs [and] hostile state actors."

A lot of what is going on here is superb cover design IMHO, and also that it is 128pp
Picked up a copy of "Hyperpolitics" on a whim after seeing it promoted all over the place and I can only conclude that Verso have an amazing marketing department because there's not much substance here and the evidence base is weak.
