Today I found out that pretty much all the original footage from the live action filming sessions for both Myst and Riven are viewable online over on the Video Game History Foundation Library in their original quality and I think thats pretty damn neat.

So I'm going to be spending an unreasonable amount of fixing a bureaucratic healthcare bungle this week and tell me why I have to sit on hold for 10 minutes before they let me leave the message to get a call back.
Last week I was stuck in a call queue that was counting up instead of down.

My biggest advice for youngsters: take pictures of the places that matter to you. Your home, your bedroom, your classrooms, the stores you frequent, etc. You'll probably have plenty of pictures of the people in your life, but the spaces change and disappear, and they're a wonder to revisit.

If you're in North Carolina and went to the Farm's Adventures petting zoo, please make sure you get the vaccine for rabies. They also have a mobile petting zoo, so yeah be careful. From what I know, once you start showing symptoms of rabies, it's too late. ><
