The Excavation of Hob's Barrow is a magnificent folk horror point and click adventure that I highly recommend. I'm still working on my video essay about the game, which I hope will be ready in time for Halloween, but maybe don't wait for that and pick this up beforehand? It's really good!

Thank you so much!!! ❤️ It's such a cool anthology with so many amazing artists and writers, I was delighted to get to be part of it.
I am reading Failure to Launch (finally at the top of my To Read pile) and found Bagels in Space by @jabbage.bsky.social to be delightfully illustrated.

My favorite part is the moviegoer shushing the narrator.

OHHHH how beautiful, wow!!! All the different colours in there!!! This is so lovely.
A few months ago, I played and completed "The Beekepers Picnic" by @jabbage.bsky.social and fell in love with the animated pixel portraits. I decided I absolutely wanted to recreate all of them in cross stitch, starting with Watson. Thank you for the wonderful game!

BBC television's Sherlock would make some pretty bad assumptions about me based on my front door lock.

Data centres make me want to apologise personally to William Blake for finding his 'dark satanic mills' line funny when I heard it as a kid.

I'm sorry that 200 years later we're still finding ways to build things that destroy the environment, scar the landscape and exploit workers.

Of course that's what Tove Jansson's Gollum looks like.

I get a bit self conscious that I don't really watch TV. It sounds like I'm being a snob, but I just don't have a slot in my very screens-focussed life when I... do that?

The University of Birmingham Main Library Virtual Tour is now available!

This is a huge project I've been involved with to create a resource to allow visitors to virtually 'walk' through the entire building, with photos, videos, and lots of useful info.

This museum was integrated into The Dark Rites of Arkham for several reasons. One was narrative: you’ll have to solve a puzzle there. Another was to give those unfamiliar with H.P. Lovecraft a quick introduction to his themes and obsessions. 🧵

I reckon it was the best live show we've ever done, so have a gander at the trailer below to see some snippets!

I'm going to apologise right now for all Beekeeper's Picnic players.
In the game if you try to submit an entire beehive frame to the competition (rather than processed honey in a jar), it's treated like a very silly idea, but this show genuinely does have a whole category for that.

I was speaking to a mortgage advisor and mentioned entirely neutrally that I don't have any financial dependants, and his response was to say "Oh, but I'm sure you will, one day!"

This was a lovely interview, I really enjoyed myself. Thank you so much for all your thoughtful questions!
I've been a Holmes fan for as long as I can remember. So when I learned that there was a cozy adventure game exploring Sherlock's retirement years, I had to play it!
