I know the internet is about outrage or whatever , but FUCK FIFA, and FUCK hydration commercials. The announcer even said “the end of the first quarter,” in case any of us were confused about the real reason for these breaks.

I have been so critical of Gyokeres' non-existent hold up play this season, where he just backs aimlessly into the defender and makes no real attempt at the ball. The last 3-4 games it's like he's figured it out, and he's an actual monster tonight. Credit where it's due.

Arsenal have had 25% possession the second half, prior to the subs. Let's hope we can get some control with the fresh players.

Been keeping one eye on the Bayern/Madrid game - It seems like a different sport to whatever it is we’re doing. Our football is turgid and for all of Mikel’s talk of passion, There’s none on display. Arsenal better wake up soon or the season is over.

Three losses out of four. Whatever Arsenal used to be elite at, we’re not anymore. We look tired and bereft of ideas. Injuries and lack of cohesion have hit us hard. It’s up to Mikel to find solutions. Fast.

Our midfield looks so disconnected. Martinelli with his standard post Champion’s League dogwater performance. Noni is a skinny Traore - elite dribbling but no ideas or end product. I back us to have another goal, but wouldn’t be surprised if we concede one, either.
