"apps should be distributed, not hosted" has been rattling around in my brain for an entire month
Stray product(s) idea. A class of atproto apps should be spa's (single page apps) installable directly to our pds @wisp.place style. Apps should be distributed, not hosted. I should be able to install the Bluesky app to bluesky.captaincalliope.at, and then install that to my phone and desktop.

You want to know why your thing sucks now? There's a 50/50 chance it is secretly a web browser and site for no good reason instead of a real computer program.

pretty wild how liberating it is to write code that just works in the browser without a build step
It's still incredibly pleasing to run through old projects converting TS into JS + JSDoc.
I made the decision to cut out TS (excluding `.d.ts` files, they get a pass) from all my personal projects years ago and I'm still very much convinced that's the right move. TS as an authoring format ain't it.
