I have a big note on my fridge reminding me not to eat after 11.40 because scan.
Still convinced that the “bowel blockage” they thought I had in hospital was actually the mini pork pie I’d just eaten because I didn’t know they were about to give me a CT scan.

I have been to yoga for only the second time since cancer treatment, and I was able to do quite a lot. However my wrists are still arthritic - I don’t know why I thought they’d suddenly improve.

I’m very much enjoying Matthew Sweet’s biography of Barbara Cartland (The Great Dictator) but I’m glad of the Kindle search function to keep track of all the hard-up poshoes who play bit parts in her life.

Then I went to see Whistler at Tate Britain. I was early so I revisited old friends, chatted to a couple of nice “gallery ladies” (I’m a gallery lady myself with my Roka backpack and my Seasalt). But by the time I got to the exhibition I was almost dead on my feet.

I decided to go up the £24 Battersea chimney after all. I thoroughly enjoyed it but it wasn’t worth the money. Glad I did it, because it was a fun thing and I’m on holiday.
