This amazing drawing sums up CHEMICAL SOLUTIONS FOR LONELY HEARTS.
#UnhingedPit #AmAlmostQuerying
A sketch of two people standing in front of a fume hood. On the left, a woman in a lab coat and safety glasses has her hands on her hips. She's glaring at the man, who is very tall and skinny. His arms are crossed and he stares at her impassively. He's wearing normal glasses and has a bit of a beard. In the fume hood, red liquid is exploding out of an Erlenmeyer flask on a hotplate. In the air it turns into little hearts.

Today’s #WIPSnips prompt is perfect for my MG novel about a girl in a graveyard whose ghostly visions invade her artwork.

Ahhhh!!! I have the honor of knowing @jaymiwrites.bsky.social for the past 2.5 years after asking her to go steady when we met on QTCritique and have loved seeing her grow exponentially through each book. Her MG voice is on point. Her characters endearing, and her twisty mysteries so much fun!

CP shoutout to @chloemarcus.bsky.social who read my first ever completed manuscript, the mess it was, and patiently taught me about the endless rookie writer mistakes I was making. She taught me to be a better writer and introduced me to an awesome group of CPers.

I don’t know if it’s my favorite but I really enjoy my opening lines. #mgparanormal #revpitwaiting
I wave my right hand over the Ouija board. The girls around me hold their breath and stare with wide, unblinking eyes. Thunder grumbles outside, the perfect soundtrack for our midnight seance. Callie’s hand shakes, the light from her flashlight flickering on and off like the batteries are about to die. My left hand, hidden under my knee, has its fingers crossed. Because I, Ayla Graves, am a fraud.
