Not much #MathsToday but managed to visit some other A Level lessons as part of my role as a Lead Practitioner within my Sixth Form College, looking for excellent practice to spotlight. Managed to see History, Sociology, Film Studies and Art today. More tomorrow and Friday!

Lovely day of #ALevelMaths in #MathsToday, introducing the reciprocal trig functions to my Y2 classes as well as the accompanying Pythagorean identities. Always enjoy the opportunity to make the class cringe with "The one with a tan is sexy" and "The one in the cot is cosy".

There seems to be a disparity between the amount of contact that the referee is allowing for the home team and the amount that we are allowed.

In #MathsToday my #ALevelMaths Y2 students did some work on combined transformations of functions. We have the first assessment of the year coming up on Thursday and then starting Trigonometry next week!

Lammens definitely reacted as Enzo Fernandez lunged to try and head it. I think that should have been disallowed. I'm also not convinced Haaland was onside anyway.

Regis Le Bris, "I didn't see the penalty action". Every time a decision was made he ran to a little screen on his bench to watch it immediately. There is absolutely no chance that he hasn't watched it at least 10 times.
