A lot of my OCs are the kind of low income white Southerners who really hated Country Music™ in high school but saying they wouldn't turn off Dolly Parton or Johnny Cash only says my stories are set on Earth. The local music where my settings are based on mostly isn't country. #<3OC ##OCQuestion
Page 24 Carl is seen walking downtown sidewalk in the evening in flame or watery shaped panels, he looks back over his shoulder slightly On the rectangular grid panels Isaiah says to the third young guy "Trent...Trent come on let's go." The other ones name is Trent. There's a band consisting of a guy with thick square frame glasses and a t shirt with a cartoon rainbow and the word caramel in Japanese and a guy with long hair and a thin mustache playing guitar, and someone off sunscreen playing drums. A bar tender pours a drink. Gibbous moon, strestreet lamp, crowd scene. From my W.I.P. the three young guys go to see Kloqtower, a long haired singer in a Victorian suit and tophat, a bald keytar player in sunglasses and a bongo player, at Smith's and Carl sits at the bar, Gabriel the Ghoul waits outside sinisterly smoking in an alley

Dear people named Gabriel and admirers of the archangel of the same name regardless of religion: However you pronounce it, the name of my OC, the homicidal organ trafficking cannibal, isnt pronounced like that, so it's not even really the same name, unless you want it to be, then it is.

I should probably keep expanding outside Georgia but there's like no indie comics scene in Chatanooga as far as I can tell and were getting into 4+ hour drives beyond there. There's going to be some more events in New Jersey, possibly New York. We'll see I guess.

The cities and towns where normies and Ghouls live are based on modern real life. The chupacabras are mysterious and sexually monomorphic, the reader doesn't technically know who's what. In the woods the bigfoots, Hags, et al have their own alien norms. #QueerPrompts
From Fried Squash one bigfotesses is grooming another next to her baby until her he-bigfoot and his other bigfootess call her over From Orbal Prism Thrud the Hag gets caught flirting with a Fresno Nightcrawler by the bug eyed sheet cryptid she'd been messing around with and angrily defends her right to do so while a bigfoot looks oone excitedly and the Hag he's drinking with rolls her eyes From Unclean Beasts Chewie brings some dead chickens home to his near identical mate and cub Front covers of Fried Squash, Easter Sunday , Signal Tower, Candle Jar, Unclean Beasts, and Orbal Prism

This next page might be done tomorrow or it might be a week or more from now. We've entered a section of the comic where a lot of the process is decision making. I don't work from an exact outline, putting it out as a by the seat of the pants webcomic then having a book at the end is how I do these.

Well 𝘴𝘰 𝘧𝘢𝘳 he started bleeding out of his nose, mouth and eyelids due to side effects of a fictional workout supplement. There's a flashback that shows some past unhappiness but it's not tied to any specific event. #WritingPrompt
Page eighteen Guy: did you go with anybody? Carl: nah, I just went Guy: Oh, well what kind of crowd was there? Carl: lots of kids, like twentys not kids kids Guy: hoo boy, it run late? Carl continues working out until he sees spots and puts his hands over his face, then goes to the bathroom and sees hes bleeding from his nose mouth and eyes "Oh God" he thinks as he starts spitting blood into the sink p'tu, p'tu, p'tu

If you see this post your green art.
Back cover of Unclean Beasts, Chewie the Chupacabra in night vision green. He's a semi humanoid with a flat snout, fangs, tusks and big Gizmo or Yoda ears. His eyes are shining in the dark.

One way to read a particular characters story in Orbal Prism is as that, yes. When I say thats one way to read it I don't mean its metaphorical. I post my comics page by page in their entirety on socials but even still I dont like to give away too much so thats all I'll say. #QueerPrompts
Front cover of Orbal Prism with Javion, Thrud, and Hayden's faces in gold against a red, blue, gold and silver abstract background and Orbal Prism in cursive, turquoise shadowed in lavender in the bottom right corner.

It's true, folks, though it's still a ways off! Watch for Dean's cameo in Chapter 2.5, sometime in mid-2027!

In the meantime, Weird Luck is between chapters right now, so it's a perfect time to catch up!

My take on the 1998 movie "Wild Things" was insightful and correct whtherayone likes it or not.
Anyway here's some random drawings. I would have had posted some others but every other image I try to post looks blurry lately for some reason.

Pencil drawing of a four eyed cyber skull faced biomechanical spider demon with a human skull topped Pharoah crown and a long tube tongue. Early sketch of a more sinister incarnation of Alvin wearing only flower garlands and playing panpipes hypnotizing the crows to fight each other Pencil drawing of a gnome sitting in a cramped truck Inkpen and watercolor drawing of Hedorah the Smog Monster in all three forms.

I dont know off the top of my head who directed this, nor do I think it promotes "family values" or racial "purity"...it's hard to explain my reasoning without spoiling the ending.
It's not that I don't like Tolkien or Dali or Lovecraft but is anarcho-monarchism or whatever really even conservative?

Old Norse in Younger Futhark. I'm considering redoing the English part split into Old English in Anglo Futhorc and Modern English in Hobbit runes.
Chewie is a chupacabra but thats not even correct Spanish. You hear Spanish in NWGA but I've never felt confident writing dialog in it. #QueerPrompts
Panel 1 A down angled view drawing on a giant tree trunk and roots floating in space with something between two of the roots. Panel 2 an up angle view of a man with media length hair a beard and eyepatch in a tunic with a spear through his chest hung by the neck from an impossibily long noose from giant tree branches with some light shining from behind them. Text from the Hávamál transliteration into younger futhark and anglo saxon runes I wit that I hung on the windy tree, Hung there for nights full nine; With the spear I was wounded, and offered I was To Woden, myself to myself, On the tree that none may ever know What root beneath it runs Veit ek, at ek hekk vindga meiði á nætr allar níu, geiri undaðr ok gefinn Óðni, sjalfr sjalfum mér, á þeim meiði, er manngi veit hvers af rótum renn. Top left panel: the hanged man with a spear through his chest is visible in silhouette against the moon. Bottom panel: a grassy patch against a great wall of bark on the wall are scrawled jajaja, alu, and a triple t, three women in mysterious white robes are there. In the foreground is a stone well, out of in proceed a man, an elk, an auroch, a cow, and a horse each superimposed with the appropriate rune the eihwaz, othala, and ing runes float along disembodied, and they cross the panel gutter into the top middle panel. Top middle panel: the hanged man with the eyepatch is alive and screaming now. Top right panel: the rope has shaped and lashed put in a spiral as he falls toward planet Earth. Við hleifi mik sældu né við hornigi; nýsta ek niðr, nam ek upp rúnar, æpandi nam, fell ek aftr þaðan. None made me happy with loaf or horn, And there below I looked; I took up the runes, shrieking I took them, And forthwith back I fell. Top left panel: the bearded man with the eyepatch is now wearing a wide brimmed hat and a cloak under a bright sky with two ravens flying overhead. Text : Rúnar munt þú finna ok ráðna stafi, mjök stóra stafi, mjök stinna stafi, Runes shalt thou find and read staves, great staves, strong staves Bottom panel: the man and cow rune spirits rest in a grassy patch with disembodied raido and othala runes and the tree has a birch rune on it. In the distance a lagu rune floats atop a lake and the sol rune shines in the sky as the sun Chupacabras. Seen in Fried Squash, Signal Tower, and Unclean Beasts. Mentioned in Orbal Prism. They're carnivorous little semi humanoid guys. The name is Puerto Rican but they're the same thing as US cattle mutilator aliens/cryptids and Latin American bat and vampire demons like Camazotz.
