One of the “joys” of getting older is when your back tells you that you’re taking a day off, you actually do have to take the day off.

Shot this on an old Canon AE-1 with a nifty fifty f/1.8 while out on tour in 2023 (can’t remember where).

Finally got around to developing that rolls of #harmanphoenix that I shot two years ago. Nice and crunchy!

#filmisnotdeal it's just expensive. ;)

15 rolls of film off the to lab! One roll of B&W, two from the Xpan, a pile from my various Canons and two “mystery rolls” that were sitting on my shelf (I think they were out of thrift stores cameras). Hopefully there will be a few keepers and not too many poorly exposed shots.

One of my favorite #fauxpans from a trip to Death Valley a couple of years ago. Next time, I’ll use my actual #xpan

Finally got my dream camera! Picked up this mint beauty of an Xpan II while touring in Germany. Can’t wait to get home and tear through my film fridge; I think I have about 200 rolls of 35mm!

Haven’t posted a puppy photo in a while, not that she would qualify as a puppy at this point….. they grow up so fast.

When the gas (or in my cases diesel) is super expensive, you go shooting in the backyard. Straight out of camera using my 50mm GM on an A7RV

If I just let YouTube play on my tv, eventually (and nearly always), it’ll settle on playing several videos in a row by Grainydays. I don’t know how much Adsense money Jason has made off of my laziness but hopefully enough to at least buy a coffee.

Sending in my old Sony to get a full spectrum conversation next week and buy the 850nm and IR Chrome filters from Kolari Vision. So excited to try some new things this year.

Nearly four weeks spent away from home for one show and a ton of prep work for the summer tour. Can’t wait to get home and to go out and shoot.

One of the interesting things about diving into printing is seeing how to edit for the print, specifically when it comes to sharpening. This shot is a bit on the crispy side on screen, but looks fantastic hanging on the wall. #vintagecameras #mediumformat #epson

Shot this with an #X100V out by at Pacific Beach a few years ago. I have since parted with that camera as the 35mm field of view just didn't suit my style. Looking back, I did get a few fun shots though. This one turned out to be pretty cool as a print.

No, the framing isn’t off. Shot this for a florist friend of mine.
