Yes. That's the issue - it's not Israel/Gaza, it's about infuriatiing comments that he made. I see a lot of people smearing Michigan Jews as anti-Muslim bigots, but AES said what he said and it's acceptable to not like it

I think one should be slightly more intellectually honest and admit most Michigan Jewish Democrats who have doubts about El Sayed, are more upset about his disastrous statement after an antisemitic terrorist attack in Michigan or his relationship with an antisemite podcaster

The absolute most generous take on Michigan Jewish Dems who won't vote for Abdul-Sayed bc of his Israel stance is that they are identical to Muslim Dems who wouldn't vote for Biden/Harris '24 bc of their Israel stance, and if you're like me that is not a favorable comparison.

He has done so many disgusting things, it’s hard to pick which ones are worst, but lying that you were rescued on 9/11 is up there. Right next to falsely claiming he sent his workers down to help.
