WashPo's headlines today are cracking me up. "Surprising ways menopause can affect your mouth" (you mean this spicy truth-portal right here?) and "Parents are ‘going broke on berries’," a story that required 3 journalists to break. 3.

Torture survivors healed through this NYC hospital program. Where will they go when it shutters this month?

Last year, Bellevue Hospital’s Program for Survivors of Torture in Manhattan served as many as 700 people. Now, staff worry about what’s next for patients, Jenny Sherman reports.

to figure out whether a prohibition on drug users possessing guns that passed in 1968 is still legal in 2026, one must figure out how drunk the Founding Fathers got in 1776 --the Supreme Court, basically

You could read "The Overstory" by Richard Powers to realize the horror of cutting old-growth forests, of bringing down a tree that has stood since before the printing press existed. Time's short, tho—read these resources for now and COMMENT to stop the BLM's plan. I did.
You only have a short time to comment. They are trying to destroy our forests to enrich a few logging company executives and the politicians they’ve paid off.

Nate Pischke has turned his indignation and outrage about the largest deployment of masked and armed ICE agents in US history into a call for hunters and fishermen to speak out.
