Husband to Lindsey, Dad to Max, Declan, and Aubrey, and owner of JasperFx Software (https://jasperfx.net). I take pull requests. Go Chiefs!

I occasionally blog at https://jeremydmiller.com.
Working at a StarBucks and telling myself I'll head home after the next song and it turned out to be American Pie. I might be here the rest of the day.

As a long time Chiefs fan I'm feeling some déjà vu. I'm a little worried about K9 getting worn down from overuse the same way I was about Priest Holmes 20 years ago and having to care a little bit about awful off field stories about Tyreek

My Mom likes these guys, and I've got a soft spot for this kind of 70's stuff.

I got to be on DotNetRocks this week talking the Critter Stack, Event Sourcing, inevitably AI, and a little bit of a get off my rant about today's content creators:

I'll happily argue that Wolverine has the strongest support for multi-tenancy out of all the .NET messaging tools:

jasperfx.net/news/multi-t...
Wolverine's End to End Multi-Tenancy
Wolverine treats the tenant id as message metadata, and that one decision carries the tenant from HTTP detection, into the right Marten, Polecat, or EF Core session, onto every cascaded message, and i...

Writing a blog post and making yet another link to a pattern in the EIP book. For my writing career I've referred more to Martin Fowler posts, the EIP book, and the original C2 Wiki more than any other resources

Yet another Wolverine release, some themes:

* Wolverine has a vibrant community
* AOT compliance is a slog
* You can't just vibe code something like Wolverine, it's all vision first, but then constant feedback, adaptation, and curation over time

Oh, man, that was such a great year for movies to me. The Departed and Casino Royale at about the same time as I recall
THE DEPARTED was released 20 years ago today. Acclaimed as one of the great Hollywood remakes, and the movie that finally gave director Martin Scorsese Oscars success, the story of how it came to be will have you seeing rats everywhere…

I think the folks at @thebulwark.com are a positive force now, minus some of their past and present troglodytes they've mostly moved off to the side. Dunno what to say about this one other than it's a bit depressing and the Focus Group Podcast is ugh:

You Can't Build a Better Politics on Bad History
Sarah Longwell's "How to Eat an Elephant" offers useful advice for Democratic politics. Yet it is also based on a false history of the GOP.

I think last week might have been the busiest ever for the Critter Stack outside of major releases:

jasperfx.net/news/critter...
Our Busiest Week Ever: The Critter Stack from September 28th to October 5th
Forty releases, 267 merged pull requests, and 38 of those from eleven people outside JasperFx. Native AOT went from aspirational to measured in CI across Marten, Wolverine, Polecat, and Fisher. Weasel...

I just muted a thread that I accidentally started with a single, careless, flippant remark.

And we left the TV on for just a minute after the game and it was setting up a segment on 60 Minutes with *Ross Douthat*. Just shoot me now.

We switched over to the Sunday Night game.

Give it up to the @kcsportsnetwork.bsky.social podcasts, because when they said the Chiefs defense struggled defending tight ends, they were completely right. Bowers is going to be in the HoF by the end of the game today
