Congratulations to Albania on entering the concluding phase of EU accession negotiations!

The 8th Albania–EU Intergovernmental Conference held yesterday in Brussels is a milestone that Kosovo celebrates together with Albania.

It has been more than 40 months since we applied for membership. No decision has been taken, despite the @ec.europa.eu epeated stance that they are ready to deliver an opinion. It's time for the EU to deliver. It's time to make candidate status official.
Cyprus, Nicosia 11-12 May.

I had my first visit as Kosova's Chief Negotiator in Tiranë where I met Minister of State and Chief Negotiator Ms. Dhuka to discuss Albania's experience on the EU accession path. 🇽🇰🇦🇱🇪🇺.

As Kosova awaits the EU to deliver on candidate status, we are not standing idle. 1/3

Last night’s result was a referendum.

The citizens spoke clearly and loudly about the direction we need to take.

Thank you to every citizen of our Republic, at home and abroad, for the trust placed in Lëvizja Vetëvendosje, to continue towards a more just, more secure, and more prosperous Kosova.

Marko Djuric was lying last year. Although, to be frank, he does that all the time.

Last year he publicly demanded an investigation into the Ibër–Lepenc canal attack. Yet we already knew he was aware of who was behind it, b/c he met the terrorist Milan Radoičić that same month.

Two years after the terrorist attack in Banjskë, justice for our police officer Afrim Bunjaku is still denied. The perpetrators are known. Serbia trained, equipped, and sponsored them, yet today it harbors them without facing sanctions or real pressure

Last December, I visited the Swedish Institute (SI), a pleasant visit to the institution that granted me a life-changing opportunity in 2012. A couple of weeks ago, they published an article about my visit and my journey, which you can find here:

A clarification for Ana Brnabić:
We are a democracy. Prime Minister Albin Kurti does not own any media.

PM Kurti in Sarajevo:

I have come to Sarajevo today not just as a representative of my country but as a friend and a partner. Our relationship is rooted in people and the values we share—democracy, human rights, and the unwavering commitment to the dignity of every individual. 1/4

Prime Minister Albin Kurti is delivering a keynote speech in Sarajevo. He said this with regards to democracy and security in our region:

Democracy and the rule of law are essential, and this means that no one should be above the law, but also no one should be beyond the law. 1/5

When Serbia kidnapped 3 police officers in June 2023, it faced no consequences. Instead Kosova was put under measures.
When Banjskë happened, Serbia again faced no consequences & the terrorist leader of the paramilitary group, Milan Radoičić, remains free and protected by Serbia.
