Was looking for a reference book and found this comic. had completely forgotten I had this book on Pope John Paul II, from 1982. Someone had given it to me for my collection in the early 2000s.

We are continually sliding backwards. The nearest facility that could serve my health needs would be over 200miles away from everyone I know. Had I been there during COVID, I'm positive I would not be here now.

@jesszafarris.com if you haven't read it yet, I'd highly recommend Kingdom of Characters by Jing Tsu. Finished it recently and it was a fascinating dive into the process of trying to bring Chinese writing into the modern age from typewriters to digital formats.
