I’m still surprised that #generalmotors and #maryberra hosted a Republican political rally on GM PROPERTY.

It was a campaign rally at an engineering center that regular employees cannot enter without special permission

Did I get any part of this wrong?

So. NATO countries have not spent enough on their defense, so trump has tried to “charge” them for the US’s defense “services.”

How will trump charge Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and so on for our military presence and for providing protection from Iran?

What will he charge Israel?

Per the WSJ: “Two U.S. servicemembers were killed, several wounded in an Iranian attack on an air base in Jordan…”

We previously lost ELEVEN of our sons and daughters, who died because a coward with “foot problems” made them give their lives, not for the US, but for vanity and a foreign country.

I am SO happy that trump and the Moroun family, along with Pete Hoekstra, won’t allow the Gordie Howe Bridge to open.

I can’t wait to see how much longer the USA will have to wait to start receiving revenue because we ran up the bill to repay Canada for construction of the bridge.

Brilliant.

Per the Wall Street Journal today:
“Tit-for-tat violence extends biggest flare-up under Trump’s new agreement with Iran.”

Did ANYONE think that the dynamic trio of Kushner, Witkoff and trump could actually negotiate a peace pact that worked out and made sense?

What of their personal side deals?

It's crazy how we have both the World Cup and America 250 this year, and almost no one cares about them because this regime has wholly sucked the joy out of even momentous national events.

Trump’s visit to China yielded this “love fest” per WSJ:

“… in Beijing, Putin called Xi a “dear friend.” Xi typically calls Putin an “old friend.” Their public endearments are a degree closer than Trump’s declaration to Xi last week that “it’s an honor to be your friend.”

MANY degrees different.

Does it mean something that Xi did not greet trump upon his landing? First time a US President has visited China in, I think, 10 years?

Trump’s transportation secretary, Sean Duffy, described the person killed as a “trespasser” who breached security at Denver’s airport, “deliberately scaled a permit fence and ran out on to a runway”.

Maybe: perimeter fence?

Tresspasser: Airport Employee in crisis?

Terrible FAA leadership?

Yeah! Just like the Voting Rights Act that was just nullified.

I think we know which one is more consequential, no?
On the one hand, the crashing of LIV Golf ends the most shameful money grab in the history of that or maybe any sport. On the other hand ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha …

After Trump builds his ballroom, imagine his head of security advising him of an imminent threat, locking him in, and, for his safety, never letting him our or anyone important in.
For an historical precedent, consider Emperor Tiberius' sequestration in Capri by the head of his Praetorian guard

So. JD Vance is now influencing Hungary’s election by claiming that Zelensky, a Democratically elected head of state, is interfering with Hungary’s elections.

Is that what we want from a US Official who represents the US abroad?

Go home and take care of your wife. THAT is the proper thing to do.

We were the perfect target for authoritarianism. About 1/3 of the population actively wants an authoritarian for some reason, another 1/3 are too busy making lots of money and ignoring things, and the final 1/3 just trying to survive and don't have time to protest enough to make a difference.

The president of the US is attending the Supreme Court arguments regarding his EO ending birthright citizenship.

I don’t think this has ever happened before.

I also think there is little chance he stays awake or doesn’t fart endlessly and they have to clear the room- of smell and people.

According to the WSJ today, “Susie Wiles, … believes the president’s immigration team has turned one of his marquee issues into more of a challenging issue ahead of the midterms.”

Oh? The murder of US citizens, the imprisonment of legal immigrants and protestors in privately run prisons?

“ISSUE?”
