“I see you.” In a world that often asks us to perform, achieve, and move faster, one of the most powerful things we can offer another person is to truly see them. Grateful for the opportunity to share this message with the PFBL Scholars community. #Leadership

Spent the morning discussing the dangerous heat expected across much of the U.S. this July 4th weekend. As an emergency physician & environmental health scientist: Stay hydrated, seek shade or AC, and trust your body. If something feels off, seek care or call 911. #HeatSafety @pennldi.bsky.social

Education for community service is the heart of our immigration story. What we gained via opportunity, we pour back into others. The 2026 Nwanaji-Enwerem Foundation Health & Wellness Fair in Imo, Nigeria reflects that commitment—locally & globally. Photos shared w/ permission.

Like many, my family often reflects on the country’s future. A talk with my dad is now a paper on Medicaid saving lives—across party lines—and why reforms must center people, not just costs. Even now, we can stay civically engaged to protect what matters.

I get it. Regulations may not sound enjoyable, but they often exist to create cleaner environments. When done right, this means healthier people, happier families, more productive workers, & more prosperous businesses. Looking forward to the conversation, Miami!
