US truckers will begin a general strike on October 1, 2026. This is due to fuel prices being higher than the wages they are making, and relaxing of safety standards.

It's strange how Democratic Socialists - who are being denounced by both parties - turned major deficits into balanced budgets in both New York and Seattle.
BREAKING: In Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson's new proposed city budget being released Tuesday, there is no projected deficit through 2030. Given the state of the projected deficit over the past many years, this is quite an achievement.

Keep in mind that the price of diesel will put many truck drivers out business. Less trucks will delay delivery and increase pressure on goods. The cost of everything will increase.
