I maintain that @joeyverse.bsky.social's Peeper Beetle scene in #DarkCrystal #AgeofResistance is one of the greatest horror scenes ever put on screen. The impact of it does NOT go away on repeat viewings. The Skeksis being silly & relatable is what makes their cruelty so horrifying.
