'Reading and Leeds Festival' somewhat of a misnomer when there's not a minute of Leeds coverage on BBC, not even Kasabian, who didn't play Reading. Apparently this is the case every year? Make of that what you will.

Look.

People get divorced for all manner of reasons, and it's nobody else's business.

However.

When a politician is using the slogan:

Family. Community. Country.

It's perfectly reasonable to point out that they are recently divorced and live in the SE of England miles from Gorton and Denton.

A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.

Watch this for perfect autumn sofa-snuggling, evening-tea-drinking, escaping-the-world TV. Then read (or reread) the book.
You couldn't make this up.

From a newspaper I won't promote but they absolutely love

Leonard and Hungry Paul @ronanhession.bsky.social

'BBC viewers left 'crying happy tears' by 'pure delight' new comedy series after binge-watching all six episodes.'

BBC: But Reform has 2x your poll rating. If there were an election tomorrow, they'd be running the country.

Lib Dems: So you're putting their people and policies under scrutiny, right?
