🚨BREAKING🚨: SCOTUS (AGAIN) steps in to mandate that Missouri use its 2022 map and (AGAIN) clarify that the MO Supreme Court has a role here… this is great! And (AGAIN) it’s deeply crazy that it took this much.

Today is Sept 9th.

- 55 days until Election Day
- Every state primary election has passed
- Ballots are being printed in many states

AND we still don’t know for sure what the national congressional map lines will be thanks to rogue officials in Missouri

NONE OF THIS IS NORMAL.

I know the term “Constitutional Crisis” is tossed around but in Missouri we are living in one.

MO Sup Ct: State must use ‘22 map. SCOTUS agrees. Single lower court judge disagrees. AG & SOS say they will do what the lower court judge says.

Pure lawlessness + authoritarianism.

Mid-decade redistricting used to be rare. This cycle, it became a strategy.

10 states redrew congressional maps ahead of November—most to lock in an advantage before a single vote is cast.

Voters are supposed to pick their representatives. Not the other way around.

People ask what they can actually do about gerrymandering.

Here's the honest answer: win the state races that decide who holds the pen in 2031.

🚨 BREAKING X2🚨: The Maryland Supreme Court will allow Marylanders to vote on a ballot initiative this November to enable the state to respond to the GOP gerrymanders across the country!
September 3, 2026 at 10:49 PM
🚨BREAKING🚨: Missouri Supreme Court rules that new GOP gerrymandered map can NOT go into effect and that the voters WILL have the chance to vote against it on the 2026 ballot!

Dolly Parton was an unimaginable force in her ability to transcend American culture. She was all of us: rich, poor, rural, urban, men, women, and everyone in the middle. She was loved by everyone and gave all of that love back to us.

Dolly was American culture.

For decades, Rep. Bennie Thompson has fought for the people of Mississippi.

But Republicans are now hell-bent on dismantling the historically Black district he represents. All because they know they can’t win it fairly.
August 25, 2026 at 7:43 PM
For the last year, Republicans have been singularly hellbent on taking away power from communities of color. The GOP likes to say that they’re just focused on redrawing maps to benefit their party — that it has nothing to do with race.

Unfortunately, that ploy has been working.

This Voting Rights Act anniversary carries a different weight.

Earlier this year, SCOTUS gutted Section 2 of the landmark bill. Within months, Republicans unleashed a new wave of gerrymandered maps designed to silence voters of color.

Rebuilding the VRA is how we stop these attacks on democracy.

Gerrymandering's two moves:

Pack: cram opponents into a few districts where they win 80-20. Extra votes? Wasted.

Crack: spread the rest so they lose 45-55. Also wasted.

Millions of votes. Zero influence. That's the design.

Most people think 2026 = next 2 years.

But whoever controls state legislatures after the 2030 census draws the maps that shape representation for the entire next decade.

The NDRC is playing the long game in the fight for fair maps.

Everyone has had this boss... literally the worst person in any office.
August 4, 2026 at 4:26 PM
Redistricting reform isn't one election or one lawsuit.

It's recruiting candidates. Winning state legislatures. Passing ballot initiatives. Defending legal challenges. All before a single map is drawn.

NDRC has been doing this work for years. We're not stopping now.

This timeline is just so dumb… 😑
July 31, 2026 at 10:58 PM
Congress goes on recess in August, and your representatives head home. But thanks to gerrymandering, most of them represent safe seats.

That means they don't have to worry much about what you think.

Safe seats → low accountability. That's exactly what fair maps are designed to fix.

I miss the World Cup.

That is all.
July 31, 2026 at 2:27 PM
The 2026 midterms are about 3 months away.

Every House seat. Every map. Every margin.

NDRC is backing candidates who believe in fair representation — because rigged districts shouldn't decide who runs this country.
July 30, 2026 at 8:44 PM
Gerrymandering 101: Politicians draw their own district lines, choosing their voters before voters choose them.

That's why a state can be split 50-50 politically but represented 70-30 in Congress.

It's not a bug. It's the design.
July 23, 2026 at 8:30 PM
Every House seat is up in November.

The maps deciding who wins were drawn by politicians — often specifically to guarantee one party's grip on power.

This is the election where we fight to take those maps back.
July 23, 2026 at 1:23 PM
Frustrated with Congress but feel powerless?

Redistricting is where real power lives. Fair maps → fair elections → representatives who actually have to listen.

Let's be clear: Trump’s election lies are a shoddy cover for trying to subvert the 2026 midterms. Scared of facing accountability from Americans who are tired of his failures, he's escalating his attempts to corrupt the electoral process.
