Just been signed off by the lung surgeon following my operation. I've recovered well and fast. I'll be starting round 2 of chemotherapy soon. The surgeon says he hopes to never see me again, unless we bump into each other on Richmond Hill for ice cream 🍨

Lovely to have ts-loader's benchmark harness get a shout out on @typescript.fm - feel free to steal the code! For those curious the performance with the 7.1 APIs is comparable with the 6.x APIs. Before shipping things will likely improve further!

As part of the migration of ts-loader to TypeScript 7.1, performance is likely to change. I've no handle yet on how much, but with Claude and Copilots help (well Claude really, Copilot wasn't very helpful) I've put together a benchmark harness to run on each PR!

Work on the ts-loader migration to TypeScript 7.1 continues. Bug fixes by @andrewbran.ch have simplified the code. There's going to be a number of breaking changes as we drop esoteric / little used ts-loader features. I'll put a blog out talking about these so folks know
