If the @ec.europa.eu really had some will to protect consumers they would force companies to change “buy” buttons into “buy license” for digital games, since we don’t really buy the game on the digital stores. Maybe that would make people really figure out what are they spending the money on.
Sony has addressed multiple questions regarding its decision to end physical disc production for PS5 games in January 2028.
