2026 has been rough but it’s also been the most creatively fulfilling year of my life. Grown my YouTube channel to almost 200 subscribers, launched 2 new shows, interviewed someone i really admire, and had a challenging to make but successful film awards. Never quit! #MovieSky #FilmSky

My desire to talk MCU & Avengers has been at a high the past few weeks, so I sat down and tried to figure out what I feel needs to happen in Avengers: Doomsday! Give it a watch and let me know what you think!

I saw AKIRA in theaters again recently and was so moved by the experience I had to talk about it for 10 minutes. Such a classic & important film, it’s the first of many we’re considering a Just Mash Classic! Please check it out and subscribe!

THE SITTER feels like the end of an era for raunchy comedy films, in line with the films of the 2000’s but has the identity of early 2010’s comedies seeping through. It’s a funny movie, nothing special, but I felt like it would’ve hit higher highs had it come out 5 years before #MovieSky #FilmSky

PUNISHER: WAR ZONE is a really well made, but bad movie. The gore & action is where it should be for a Punisher movie, but the cheesiness feels more at home in a Seagal movie than anything. Feels like the last holdout of pre-MCU Marvel. Thankful to have the films we get now #MovieSky #FilmSky

SPIDER-MAN 3 is famous for being a disaster, but my god is it worse than I remember. I always struggled with it as a kid, but as an adult it’s even more burdensome. Too much going on with not enough reason for justification, and some of the most frustrating characters. #MovieSky #FilmSky

I LOVE YOU, MAN is one of my most sentimental favorite films, reminding me of being in high school & watching it every night. I love Paul Rudd & Jason Segel’s friendship on/off screen. Feels like one of the last truly optimistic comedies we got before the cynicism of the 2010’s #MovieSky #FilmSky

SET IT OFF is one of the best crime thrillers of the 90’s. Great premise & payoff, with really emotional and resonating performances from all 4 leads, but Queen Latifah steals the show and absolutely should’ve gotten nominated for her performance #MovieSky #FilmSky

AKIRA truly is the greatest animated film of all time, in contention for greatest sci-fi film of all time period. The animation, the story, the passion in the voice acting, and most importantly, the cool factor, all hold up decades later. Seeing it in theaters is life changing. #MovieSky #FilmSky

TONY is one of the few biopics that I’ve enjoyed in my life. It’s not that it isn’t about Anthony Bourdain, but it doesn’t matter that it’s Anthony Bourdain’s story. Feels universal, and has a lot to say about mentors in life and inspiration. It’s one for the imposters #FilmSky #MovieSky

COYOTE VS ACME rules, super fun and a reminder of what comedy films can be, and also a giant win for cinema being that it almost never got released. The animation is perfectly integrated into the live action world, and Will Forte is perfect as the lead. See it in theaters! #MovieSky #FilmSky
