NEW: After enormous backlash to his decision to charge an LAPD officer who secretly recorded colleagues' racist comments, L.A. D.A. Nathan Hochman says he's reducing all charges to misdemeanors. Case will likely be settled by a diversion program, with no jail time.

The family of Keith Porter Jr. met with L.A. D.A Nathan Hochman today and asked for a grand jury investigation of his killing by an off-duty ICE agent today.
