I'm an mp3 guy. Was late on Napster/file sharing - but the iPod was the dream. Ripping Library CDs, finding free blog downloads. YouTube to MP3 bootlegs. Putting most of my music on shuffle. Making infinite playlists. Still buy mp3 from iTunes/Bandcamp. Still connect my iPod to my laptop

Beatles are a singles band.
When you find out about an album that is 27 years old and wonder how you've never heard of it, and its the best thing you've heard in a while and then you find out they have too much music to listen too.

Another great suggestion from @andrewinkenosha.bsky.social very reminiscent of The Beths.
This is probably the best late period (post-Echo) Petty album, but the Silversun Pickups is pretty great, and one my wife's favorites.
These albums by Midlake, Silversun Pickups, Pharrell, and Tom Petty were released 20 years ago today. 💿

Tonight Appalachian roots rocker John R. Miller returned to the Grand Ole Opry and introduced a “monumentally influential practitioner of the guitar” as his surprise guest. J Mascis then joined Miller onstage to perform “Steering Wheel Drums,” marking the @dinosaurjr.com frontman’s own Opry debut.
