@ballotbox.scot Candidates for Peterhead by-election are out, I suspect the right will have over well 50% but can they cooperate enough to win? The SNP number from 2022 is likely inflated due to a personal vote (outran the alphabet effect 3 times in his career)

@afaulds.bsky.social Reading through your new municipalism project, your system would make it impossible for a truly local independent in Glasgow. Several small theoretical councils have one getting elected on less than 10% in one real ward, highest performing in Glasgow who got 12.8% nowhere near

@afaulds.bsky.social One thing not talked about enough is the Labour "no coalitions" in councils. It's all fun and games when you can pretend Tories and Lib Dems aren't helping pass budgets, but has anyone stuck the results in Falkirk, WL, and the Lanarkshires in Sarwar's face? Oncoming train wreck

@afaulds.bsky.social One thing not talked about enough is the Labour "no coalitions" in councils. It's all fun and games when you can pretend Tories and Lib Dems aren't helping pass budgets, but has anyone stuck the results in Falkirk, WL, and the Lanarkshires in Sarwar's face? Oncoming train wreck
@afaulds.bsky.social I know they don't have a base there but looking through your data Eastwood feels like such a LD seat. Only seat in Scotland with LAB/CON both over 20% on list. RFM vote is 3rd weakest of any mainland seat outside of Glasgow and Edinburgh. The other two are Fife NE and SL&B
