It's refreshing to do something non-Microsoft for a change. Instead of using big & often dysfunctional stack like the Power Platform, I'm now also leveraging technology that has UX at its very core.

AI agent skills are repeating the "best practices" that allowed any browser extension to turn malicious via an update that no party validates. Luckily the attack surface this time around is *checks notes* ...much bigger.

Many workers download skills created by other people and stored in open source repositories. Anthropic and Microsoft also offer such skills. All four coding agent providers try to detect malicious code in skills. But after a customer downloads a skill and it goes through those coding agents’ scanners, the agent tool automatically installs software updates released by the skill’s creator. Air discovered that if a hacker updated a skill with malicious code and gave it the same name as the previous version of that skill, the AI coding agents would automatically download the malicious update without detecting the change or alerting the customer."

I just updated my Power Platform CLI to the latest 2.12.2 version and got 15 new command groups to play with!🤩

My favorite is of course licensing.😁 Lots of other interesting commands there for admin and governance needs.

Licensing rules without enforcement are no fun. Which is why it's great to see Microsoft promise stricter licensing checks for Power Apps premium licenses in February 2027!🤩

Licensing compliance for Power Apps Power Apps requires users to have an appropriate license to run apps, in alignment with the premium licensing requirements described in the Microsoft Power Platform Licensing Guide. Starting February 2027, areas where the licensing requirement was applied leniently, including but not limited to scenarios such as apps used in managed environments, use of model-driven apps, and use of custom apps used outside a Dynamics 365 environment context, require users to have an appropriate premium license. Users who don't have one can't open and use the app until an appropriate license is assigned. Why is Power Apps applying these stricter licensing requirements? This requirement isn't new. Users running premium apps or apps in managed environments need at least one premium license per user or capacity add-ons to access respective resources. This change helps organizations achieve and maintain compliance with existing licensing terms described in the Microsoft Power Platform Licensing Guide Where can users expect a difference once the stricter licensing checks are enforced? Users will see a difference in the following areas, and starting February 2027, these areas require an appropriate license assignment: Apps in managed environments Model-driven apps Apps used outside a Dynamics 365 environment context

At its peak in March, OpenClaw had as much search interest as Copilot. It was the future of AI agents.

Maybe it still is. Most folks just don't care about something as abstract as an agent harness/platform/whatever you'd call it.

"Looks like you're writing a letter" Clippy vibes are strong here, except A) it's an LLM and B) it's dumb enough to mistake CSS for human language.

The fresh new docs on MS Learn that cover the Autopilot agent lifecycle on Microsoft Foundry are pretty nice. For the first time I think I understand what the model is that MS is building for Agent 365.

Interesting test results on input token cost for Claude across European languages. In the Latin script league, Finnish was the toughest one for AI to figure out:
