That castlevania demo was pretty good but God I hope a switch 2 upgrade is down the pipe line because that performance isn't great unfortunately

Castlevania is such wonderful series. One that basically has two modes of operating and both work brilliantly. I played super as a kid but the one that sunk its hooks into me was Aria of Sorrow for the GBA as a teenager. Nothing really has quite hit that peak of adventure action RPG
Grab your wall chicken for a packed lunch: we're off to Transylvania for a tasty treat of a gaming anniversary: the 40th since the release of Akumajou Dracula (aka Castlevania) in Japan!
Share the Castlevania love, peeps. Your favourite music, games, and what was your first one?

@resonantarc.bsky.social I know you're gearing up for your big FF7 year this might be of some interest
FF7 scenarios with pre-rendered backgrounds were always a mystery to me during childhood; but even to this day it's still something that amazes me.
Now you can inspect every single Final Fantasy VII stage, including the 3D path + variations.

Slavoj Žižek has my dream job. I watched him speak in front of a crowd for 45 minutes uninterrupted about whatever he felt like while the host watched helplessly. when he finally finished she said "wise words" and he said "I HATE WISDOM" then started talking again

The Golden Knight (1903) depicts a struggle for life—but without the action. As the horse moves through dark, patterned woods, the scene feels more like a dream than a battlefield. Heroism is shown as the steady resolve to move through the darkness.

Guess it is another game I won't be playing then. God only knows what the hell else Sony has going on. Maybe that naughty dog space commercial is something they're really banking on???
