160 hours and 18 skeins of yarn later: I give you Greta von Stroopwafel. I'm not joking when I say this is my magnum opus - in real life time this took 28 days! And like, I didn't do anything else with my free time outside of a few nights spent with friends after work. Details in the alt text!
One of the things I love most about my job is that if meetings don't really need to happen, we *do* put them in emails. Some day when I'm someone's boss I'm going to schedule meetings with the soul purpose of canceling them. It's like the best perk I can offer in this economy right now.

Bright orange "pumpkin" coasters inside a cute pumpkin shaped bowl (with a lid that works); and a big fluffy pumpkin pillow - both prizes for the upcoming baby shower! The prizes are finally done, and now I just have two weeks to finish my THIRD hungry caterpillar.

Only thing that's left to do on this blanket is embroider the flannel detailing and edge it! I was not prepared for the hardest part of this project to be the embroidery.

We don't talk about the void you feel when you finish a series and aren't sure what series to start next. I was emotionally attached to those characters, and I don't know what to do until I'm ready to move on.

For my fellow yarn users: does anyone else re-cake their yarn after using part of it? Like, you cake it once, use some, then re-cake it. Or do you just let it sag limply in your stash until you're ready to use it again?

I feel like I should have looked at the reviews for Return to Silent Hill before I started it. This is not a good movie and I'm angry at the franchise for dropping the ball so abominably. Daddy Pyramid Head isn't even as menacing as he usually is and that's disappointing as hell. I'm DNFing this.

I feel like I should have looked at the reviews for Return to Silent Hill before I started it. This is not a good movie and I'm angry at the franchise for dropping the ball so abominably. Daddy Pyramid Head isn't even as menacing as he usually is and that's disappointing as hell. I'm DNFing this.
