Even while growing up aware of its shortcomings.. I always believed in America..
We acknowledged our mistakes because we were striving to truly reach our stated ideals...
But.. as we, as a country, start to pull away from those ideals, we are struck by a reminder that America is only a concept....

What I think needs to really happen is that republican voters need to get out there and threaten to *gasp* vote for a democrat if trump doesn't make those $5000 checks show up before the election.. ifwe waited until the Republicans won or lost, the Republicans were already in charge...

I think, the most important thing to remember about the start of this era is that...
people chose this final choice... over, not only a highly experienced competent woman... but also hated ted cruz that much after it was clear to the entire world how fucking insane that man was1🤬

I just want to personally thank Natalie Harp for (near singlehandely) lowering the crime rate (within the Executive Branch,) as well as:
Reduce the level and frequency of tantrums and threats of war crimes bu nearly half! (In only two months!!)
Ability to soothe the ego of a clearly broken man.

It would be really cool of one of these news organizations would do a story on their site with one of those big colorful interactive displays showing all of the major vacancies within the hierarchies of organizations that this administration can't be bothered with, or aren't capable of filling......
