Saying ‘I don’t vote republican because I don’t want to shit all over everything’ works on so many levels.

Yes!! This is a fantastic first step - every governing body everywhere should take note and begin work to get genAI out of schools (and out of our lives in general) ASAP.
Mayor Mamdani announces a ban on generative AI in schools through 8th grade:

AI is not going to replace student-teacher interaction in NYC public schools. We have also heard the importance of protecting childhood—allowing students the opportunity to ask questions, to engage, to fail, to learn.

Oh yeah sure, she’s totally not going to do what she has done for the last several decades. People who fall for her crap are missing a few brain cells.
Susan Collins wants voters to believe she’s independent of Trump. The “independent” brand isn’t going to sell to Mainers.

Troy Jackson’s message: Look at her record

She’s the chair of the Appropriations Committee & had the power to stop Trump’s agenda that hurt Maine, but repeatedly chose not to.

The party of “fiscal responsibility” is only taking responsibility for the part of the debt that goes toward helping people who aren’t rich. The rest of the debt is invisible apparently.
They just passed a budget that included a massive increase in the federal debt and are about to come back and pass a huge increase in military spending, a 3rd bailout for farmers, and many billions to cover the cost of the Iran War. These people NEVER reduce the deficit. bsky.app/profile/atru...
CASONE: We surpassed $40 trillion in debt. In any way, shape, or form, is fiscal restraint going to be on the agenda for you and your colleagues?

TOM EMMER: Uh, it has been. That will be priority number one when we get through the midterms.

76 long days since we saw his face (if you’re a theater kid like me you sang this)
On this I cannot disagree. Mainstream media and legacy media have been bought and paid for and are willing turning a blind eye to an obvious coverup. No one is willing to go to the hospital and find out the truth? Shameful.

Climate change is reshaping the world. We’re not ready.
“We used to say that the glaciers are melting in the Himalaya. Now it seems like the mountains are cracking up,” says Nepali journalist Kunda Dixit, who speaks to us in the wake of the catastrophic floods that hit Nepal and Tibet last week after a glacier collapsed in the Himalayan mountains.

4. Go to the bathroom "alone,"
5. Stop at just one cat.

Amazing that England is a better choice given their experience but in trump’s America no one is safe.
Can't blame Harry and Meghan for coming to Britain to live. Only one born in the US, mixed race foreign born kids. They must be worried about the ICE raids in Trump's America. #r4today

The vast majority of the national debt is the wealth of the 1%. They have received decades of bailouts, tax cuts, corporate subsidies and grants, lucrative public contracts, trillions squandered on foreign wars.
'So, from now on, whenever you hear someone fret about how huge, horrible, and out-of-control the national debt is, explain to them that it’s largely because of tax cuts to the wealthy — who are also the major recipients of interest on that debt.'
