Ok but that’s batshit, yes? Any staff that change my daughter’s poopy nappy, male, female, nb or furry, when she goes to nursery in a few months is a hero.
Her worldview is so regressive. Male nursery staff can’t change nappies????

Death to Glonzo
I know we're all supposed to be herding onto the anti-data center bandwagon, but man, I worry a *lot* that it's going to overspill its borders & become a more generalized anti-wind & solar, anti-battery, anti-grid-infrastructure, anti-transmission, anti-anything mega-glonzo that leaves us worse off.

Party that wants to retrospectively change rules so as to remove migrants also says retrospective rules on party funding are "dictatorship tactics".

I really don’t understand, when we talk about Kushner, Trump, Farage et al. that we pussyfoot around the fact these are just deeply deeply stupid people.
Ukraine not wanting to concede even more territory than it already has, withdrawing to a line less defendable, to give Russia time to regroup and invade, is what's holding back peace.
⚡️Ukraine's refusal to give up territory to Russia stalls peace deal, Trump envoy says.

"Ukraine right now does not want to do that," U.S. President Donald Trump's envoy and son-in-law Jared Kushner said.

A centre right government can do things but uWu Labour massive majority government cannot has been eye opening. My tribal loyalty to whatever the centre left is won’t change but boy is this party difficult

A serious democratic society simply cannot allow this.

That's £72 million from just two men. (Both, until lately, based overseas).

The average UK earner (full-time) would have to work for over 1,800 years to raise that much.

It's a nuclear strike on any pretence at the equality of political power
Harborne has given Reform £36 million to match Delo's £36 million. The Telegraph describes it as a "show of force" from Reform's donors.

The two men's £72 million is greater than all of the spending by all political parties on the 2024 GE

In retrospect running a 1400m elevation gain trail marathon as my first marathon was certainly a choice. But I did it and now I officially have an ITRA point

My unified theory about parts (not all!) of Blue Labour is that it is internalised FPTPitis. The views of voters in marginal seats are given extreme value.

But it’s the next step that matters: rather than compromised with the. occasionally out of necessity, *those views are accepted as correct*
a typical 'blue' Labour's mistake. Labelling moderate people as insufferable, top knotted, sourdough starter making, lactose intolerant fruitarians, when in fact their stated views on international policy, welfare, education and transport are very aligned with core Labour values

The rise of the far right is inevitable, hear the jackboots marching, bla bla bla, meanwhile, Konfederacja, the far right Polish party polling in the mid teens, failed to register a candidate for the mayoral election in the second largest city through sheer incompetence, so maybe all is not lost
