I was intrigued by the latest Imagine Canada national and provincial nonprofit sector update. Maybe that doesn't sound intriguing to you, but hear me out! When most people hear the words “charity” or “nonprofit,” they picture organizations like food banks, shelters, youth programs, disability supports, or community groups. I have worked in the sector for more than 30 years, and that is certainly my central frame of reference.
