Maybe a bit of a niche comic for parents. 😂 enjoy ❤️👶

#knqcomics #parenthumour #toddlerhumour #comic #funnycomic #wreckingball #mileycyrus
Panel 1/3 comic. A baby is raised up on their arms in bed behind their parent sleeping on a pillow. The caption reads “co-sleeping with toddlers:” Panel 2/3 comic. A cartoon depiction of Miley Cyrus swinging on a wrecking ball amidst smashed cinder block walls from her music video “Wrecking Ball” the caption reads “I came in like a “ between musical notes Panel 3/3 comic. The caption reads “Wrecking Ball” in bold capital letters. The baby from the first panel dives head first into their parent’s head. The dramatic impact is emphasized by bright yellow geometric points around the baby’s head. The parent’s face looks squished, their eyes look surprised, their tongue is out and a tooth has been knocked out and flies accross the page.

Relatable? Maybe? Maybe not? True story.

7 panel comic by Keisha Neoma Quinn “ the seat that refused to stay up + the man who refused to sit = this woman getting grossed out!” The following panels depict an upset woman yelling “look what you did!” And pointing at a toilet seat with 4 perfect yellow droplets on it. A man replies * in an annoyingly sweet British accent “Aww! My love droplets” the last panel shows the woman still annoyed but can’t stop giggling

@amccreesh.bsky.social it was so nice to meet you at TCAF! I read most of this book on the train home and laughed out loud many times. I now want to buy copies as gifts for all of my mom friends ❤️

Full colour 9 panel comic showing a tired person making tea. They almost pour the kettle into the tea bag jar and then almost pour it in the sugar jar looking more and more alarmed before finally pouring it into their mug and laughing with relief. The colours get progressively brighter in the last 3 panels. A caption reads “it was the near mistakes - not the caffeine - that woke me up.”

Artists, show us how you draw Black women
#art

Here are some somewhat recent examples I found on hand
A bright digital drawing in a combination realistic sketchy cartoon style of an androgynous femme Black woman in white collared shirt and teal tie. She smiles confidently making eye contact. Her hair is short and her earrings are colourful stretched plugs. Very bright pink paint strokes fill the background. A cropped digital drawing of a Black woman singing passionately under high contrast colourful light. She has red highlights on her face, purple tones on her lips and natural hair. Big pink hoop earrings. Her eyes are closed her mouth is wide. Audience members dance in the background surrounded by lazer lights and sunset. Another cropped digital drawing of live musicians in bright abstracted colours with sunset in the background. Multiple genders, body shapes and races are depicted. Instruments include a bass guitar, theremin, flute, clarinet and shaker. Another cropped digital drawing of live musicians in bright abstracted colours with sunset in the background. Multiple genders, body shapes and races are depicted. Instruments include a dj set up with various pedals, keyboard and turntables, a drum kit, a trombone and baritone saxophone.

My latest commission was a digital portrait for my friends Susan and Ryan and their cat Bourgogne! Hand drawn by a real human using procreate 😘

#knqart #digitalportrait #procreate #realhumanart #noai
A very painterly but realistic digital artwork depicts 3 members of a family: A white and grey kitten with yellow eyes playfully draped over the shoulder of a white man with a big dark beard, bald head and an intricate face tattoo over his right eyebrow. His partner leans on his other shoulder. She is also white and has a big wide smile, bright pink glasses and short reddy brown hair. His hand comes into the foreground showing some finger tattoos. They are wrapped and surrounded in vibrant psychedelic colours. The artist's signature is scrawled diagonally beside them on the right hand side, it reads Keisha Neoma Quinn 2026

Commissioned by a friend who was so excited that his daughter had struck a pose like Baphomet and wanted to freak out his coworkers by hanging this on his wall 😅

I’ve changed her face in this version to keep her off the internet.

Playing around with digitally tracing & adding colour to random sketches I love from my old university notes, maybe make some stickers later. Turns out including the picture of the notes in the back looks pretty cool 😍

#knqart #art #digitalart #procreate #stickeridea #smokeweed
A brightly coloured cross between a strange bunny and a tiger with a belly button on their round belly and humanoid hands holding a smoking joint. The background is bright pink and purple and the smoke is bright teal with a sketchy teal halo around the character who looks rather lazy. The style is cartoony with a street art feel. As the background colour fades to translucent, old handwritten notes on lined spiral ring notebook paper fold back into shadow. The scrawled notes are partially blocked but mention historical references to the 5th century and fall of Rome, “my presentation nov 4th - Voltaire” is visible in the notes as well.

Finally finished my daughter's 4th birthday hat. I've made one for every birthday but this was the first year I was late 😅 I should probably start on my baby's first birthday hat for the spring asap to get it done in time oh lord. Next year I'm not gonna try to fit EVERY interest.

I let my 4 yr old flip through an old sketchbook of mine that appeared to be full of the original donkey drawings for a children's book I illustrated years ago. Of course this poster commission was in the mix and now it's zombie Q&A time 😅 🧟‍♀️

“Jack’o’lantern Camp Out”
By Keisha Neoma Quinn

An idea my 4 yr old daughter and I came up with 😃!

Happy Halloween!!

🎃👻🐭🐿️🏕️⛺️🕯️🔥

#knqart #humanartist #noai #digitalart #kidslitart #halloween #jackolantern #pumpkin #cutecritters #happyhalloween #halloweenart #digitaldrawing #illustration
A chipmunk and a mouse sit inside a carved pumpkin using the candle as a campfire. The chipmunk wears a cap and vest and warms his paws, the mouse wears a purple scarf and is roasting an acorn on a stick. Their shadows stretch darkly up the inside of the pumpkin behind them. Stars are visible in the dark purple sky through the jack’o’lantern’s friendly face. Everything is drawn in a cartoony realism with sketchy lines and saturated fall colours.

"You Sexy Devil"
by Keisha Neoma Quinn
2025

This piece was a commission to depict Jean-Jacques Feuchère's bronze sculpture entitled "Satan." It was a fun flirty piece and I learned a lot about printing dark toned art!

#knqart #satan #sexydevil #digitalillustration #halloween #spooky #procreate
Digital illustration of Jean-Jaques Feuchère's bronze sculpture entitled "Satan." Using a combination of tones gold and brown the drawing depicts a flirtatious devil in a combination of realistic and sketchy cartoony style. The subject stares at the audience while chewing his pinky and crossing his arms and ankles flirtatiously with wings half raised around himself. The background is deep red with bluey teal foliage surrounding the statue.

Guess I've been following too much politics so I felt like drawing monsters. If I wasn't so focused on children's book illustrations maybe this would have been a lot more graphic and evil 😱😡

Golden Feather Band closing the outdoor #artexhibit in a secret little paradise in the middle of #Hamont that felt like the middle of nowhere. Gorgeous festival vibes, roaming packs of wild children and wonderful friends dancing & laughing on a beautiful evening. I feel a blissful afterglow today 🥰
