1st pitch at bedtime. Brewers shut down his parking lot cub scout popcorn sale. Cubs fan spilled drink on new Frelick sherzey. Over an hour to travel 2.5 miles home.

Undaunted. Core memory made.
Nightmare on Elm Street. I ironically had nightmares for years.
In honor of scary media month: what is the first piece of media you remember truly frightening you as a child?

The Brewers!

98 wins, a franchise record

@minakimes.bsky.social whatever bs LaFleur just used to wind the clock down should not be allowed. And I'm a packers fan.

As a father of two girls and, perhaps more importantly, as a father of a boy, this is an eye-opening article. Teaching and modeling respect is crucial as parents. Apparently there's going to be a time where we need to have some explicit conversations.

Evergreen tweet
Because of course it does, the Brewers' poor ABS usage burns them. Home plate umpire Adam Hamari called what should have been strike three ball four, but the Brewers are out of challenges because of two foolish usages earlier.

Dicey.
Yes, it did not help that the Milwaukee Brewers again did not make the correct ABS decision.

@cyrthogg.bsky.social any scenario in which Fischer makes his MLB debut in the postseason? Shorter bullpens, more bench guys with niche roles...

Bob Brenly just admitted he was a four time winner of the red ass award when he played and you could absolutely knock me over with a feather.

@mikepetriello.bsky.social is there a leverage index for challenges? If so, my money is on Gary Sanchez getting the least bang for his buck (batting, catching, whatever).

Hey @baldwin.senate.gov what's up?
Which Senate Dems STILL haven't signed onto S.4814 to #ExtendTPS #ProtectHaitians?

Schiff (CA)
Baldwin (WI)
Hassan & Shaheen (NH)
Heinrich (NM)
Kaine & Warner (VA)
Kelly & Gallego (AZ)
Klobuchar (MN)
Fetterman
Peters & Slotkin (MI)
Rosen (NV)
Murphy (CT)
& Ossoff (!)

HAITIANS NEED US - ☎️✊
THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS & we can still stop it.

Please call your Senator NOW & ask that they sign onto S.4814 & extend TPS for Haitians for 3 years. This will be a catastrophe for our neighbors who have been here legally!! Here's the call script!

Dr. Dre's "The Chronic" in 6th grade on cassette. Needless to say I was ... surprised ... when I got home to play it.
Potentially fun prompt: What was the first piece of music you bought for yourself knowing your parents wouldn't approve?

Mine was "The Downward Spiral." Picked up cassette on a trip to a Dewey Beach music store. Had heard "Closer" on MTV (where the "fucks" were muted) and wanted in.

@slangsonsports.bsky.social how many players have been on multiple, distinct 14 game winning streaks like Durbin, Seigler, and Monasterio have? In back to back seasons no less...

@cyrthogg.bsky.social Am I correct that the Brewers are not eligible for PPI draft picks due to Miz-related hardware because he did not break camp with the team in 2025?

The player has to get a full year of service in the year his rookie eligibility expires, even though the award is in a later year

Obviously some surface level stuff and does not include other players in the trade, but hard to say the Brewers got got on this one.

@craigcalcaterra.bsky.social you would think Dolan and MSG know that lawsuits mean discovery. How badly would you want to get him in a dep?

@jrradcliffe.bsky.social Joe Ryan for Payne & Fischer? Two top 100 guys to make it similar to the Peralta package?

I know Fischer is the 3B profile we have all been hoping for for decades, but enough swing & miss to risk it for Ryan in this bite of the apple?
