10/8/26 Chicagoland ICE activity update:
ICE was all over north IL today. Reports of activity stretching from Chicago, to the collar suburbs of Evergreen Park and Skokie, to the towns of Belvidere, Marengo & Belvidere.
At least 3 detainments reported, which as always is likely an undercount.

I voice ASPEN MOOR in @spookymonthshow.bsky.social: the Wacky Wicked Woods, and the song I performed in it, "What Do You Wanna Play", written by @bryanteohmusic.bsky.social, is now on streaming platforms!!!
So cool to have a musical number in Voice Over finally after being a lifelong singer! Enjoy!

We need to restore trust in the community, but trust has to begin somewhere. If you identify somebody who is clearly just in it for themselves, don't mirror that behavior. Don't get involved with them.
No need to call them out, either. Just shut them out of your life.
You need allies, not deceit.

I feel like there's a "rot" in the voiceover industry right now.
It's something that's probably always been there, but I think it's been progressively getting worse.
There's this strange attitude that can basically be summed up as, "F*ck y'all. I got mine." And I'd like to talk about it.

If you're in these 3 states, *TODAY* is deadline to register to vote.
Alaska
Rhode Island
South Carolina
Even if you think you've registered: doesn't hurt to check everything is in order. Do it now.
And there's a lot to vote for across them. A thread with stakes on each. ⬇️

The genesis of "The Indian Question" episode? Bo French's viral, racist tweet about Desi college students cheering on the University of Texas football team
Rufo & Keeperman basically defend the tweet for over an hour
