Know why I don’t believe there are “dead people voting” in elections? My mother in law passed away on September 9. Nine days later, on September 18, our local election board sent us a letter notifying us that she had been purged from the voter roll. Don’t believe the lies.

Today was my birthday , and it was a good day. I was able to do what I wanted - some things just for me, and also for others, which is always a good thing to do. Finished the day with my family having good food and laughter, which was perfect. Here’s to #56!

Sitting with my wife beside my mother-in-law’s bed this morning waiting for her to pass. She’s here at home with us, in her own bed, and comfortable. All made possible by a local hospice whose care and support has been amazing.

Watching an old "Emergency!" episode. A kid has what appears to be a simple bug, but it turns out he has polio because mom never had him vaccinated. The docs are dumbfounded that she didn't make sure he got the free and effective shot. Who knew that would still be a thing 51 years later?
