It was thunderstorming earlier today, and even though it's hot outside, I decided to make inside of my house cozy. Cooking dinner and letting my WIP simmer while the soup is doing the same. 💖
I didn't realize how much I needed the stillness until now.

I really wish I’d waited to publish this book until AFTER everyone got big into Greek myths but you can’t fault my trendspotting

Sometimes self-care looks like heating up leftover chicken tacos at 10 am. 😅😂 Everything else sounded like too much effort before jumping back into revisions, and I know better than to work hangry. This draft is due one week for tomorrow!!

Today was very loud and full of distractions. Hazel and I were not impressed by the influx of construction and renovation vehicles on our street (again), but I finally made it out of revising the much-too-long chapter!
