Great time at Beloiter Days @beloitcollege.bsky.social. Loved reading the old Round Tables in the archives. Then a fantastic opening to the @chicagosymphony.bsky.social season: Schumann's Manfred Overture, Hilary Hahn on Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto (plus two encores!), and Dvorak's Fifth Symphony.

Heartbreaker at Gentile as Loyola Women’s Volleyball falls to UIC 3-2. Fifth set was insane. Played their hearts out. Quick turnaround: they’re back at it tomorrow vs DePaul at McGrath-Phillips. Almost never knew what a great volleyball town this is! Conference season is going to be lit.
