RFK Jr. is ramping up his anti-vax campaign, meaning we need to ramp up showing out to the midterms and voting for a Congress that will remove RFK Jr.

Kennedy to deliver keynote for anti-vaccine group he once led
RFK Jr. worked to distance himself from Children's Health Defense, the anti-vaccine group he once led. Now, he's delivering a keynote at CHD's conference.

Senate Republicans refused to convict Trump after Jan 6.

Republican SCOTUS appointees gave him immunity.

Republicans in Congress today stand idly by as he unleashes death and destruction across the globe.

We are now at the whims of a mad king because GOP leaders have refused to constrain him.

This thing they’re calling AI is a *consumer product* being crammed down our throats as if it’s a foundational element of human existence and continued progress. Absent any other reason for suspicion, this would be enough.
Even setting aside the moral vulgarities associated with using these products (which we shouldn't of course), this strained insistence that they, in the blink of an eye, are foundational to our learning, so much so that they must be incorporated into pedagogy, absolutely reeks.

The overlap with the Great Barrington Declaration set is obvious.
It is difficult to avoid the conclusion that the HHS secretary sees deaths from outbreaks of diseases we had beaten or contained, such as measles and cyclosporiasis, as a form of social hygiene that kills off the weak and susceptible.

for-profit prisons are definitely among the top five atrocities we've decided are just normal now
Incredibly glad someone is talking about for-profit prisons. When I had a friend inside, he got too little food, forcing him to supplement from a commissary with money put into his account from folks outside. The prices were astronomical, bleeding funds from inmates' communities. It was appalling.
Florida State Rep. Angie Nixon, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, won the Senate nomination in Tuesday’s primary in a surprise victory over Lt. Col. Alex Vindman. On Morning Joe, she's asked about the DSA's agenda, including defunding police and abolishing prisons and the border.

What's astounding is that it took a buffoon as economically destructive as Trump to convince voters of what has long been the case: Republican administrations are demonstrably worse for the economy than Democratic administrations. Let's hope the realization persists post-Trump.
