Start of Pac-12 play this week means availability reports. #CSURams are listing QB Hauss Hejny as questionable. There are whole host of players listed as "probable" but I won't update unless they're downgraded. Two key Rams are doubtful: DB Elijah Mc-Cantos and OL Jayden Tuia.

Former #CUBuffs coach Rick Neuheisel will return to the state to coach the expansion Colorado Springs team in the spring UFL.

The #CSURams' first men's hoops schedule in the Pac-12 is here. Begins at home vs. Texas State, then it's an immediate road trip to face Gonzaga and San Diego State. Return game against the Zags closes the regular season. Should be a lot of fun.

Full story from Boulder today on what Deion Sanders said (and didn't say) about the #CUBuffs quarterback situation.

Signs pointing to QB Isaac Wilson starting for CU Buffs
Deion Sanders says he hasn’t made a decision on who will be his starting quarterback this Saturday. Or maybe he has.

Reading between tea leaves, it's hard to imagine Isaac Wilson isn't the #CUBuffs starting QB on Saturday vs. Texas Tech. Here's just some of what Deion Sanders said today:

- Coach Prime said he's talked to Wilson, but not Julian Lewis this week
September 29, 2026 at 9:53 PM
CBS Sports is reporting that Isaac Wilson will start this week, just FYI. Based on Deion Sanders’ comments today, I would be surprised if it wasn’t Isaac. #CUBuffs
I think it still has to be Juju. The talent is there, if he can just get his head right
September 29, 2026 at 5:34 PM
Deion Sanders says #CUBuffs are likely to keep WR Danny Scudero out until after the upcoming bye week, so return Oct. 17 vs. Utah feels most likely. Coach Prime says Scudero wasn't himself when he came back for Week 1.

"We're gonna be smart with Danny."
September 29, 2026 at 5:05 PM
Deion Sanders reaffirms that #CUBuffs are going to try and get LB Tyler Martinez a medical redshirt if he is indeed out for the season. He says he's confident in Gideon Lampron and Liona Lefau, but also that they aren't afraid to put Gage Goldberg on the field.

Deion Sanders on #CUBuffs' struggles on third and fourth down this season:

“That’s decision making. That’s all that is.”
September 29, 2026 at 4:53 PM
No surprise, but Coach Prime does not name a starter at QB for Saturday. #CUBuffs
September 29, 2026 at 4:49 PM
Deion Sanders is here for his weekly press conference ahead of the #CUBuffs' Big 12 home opener against No. 11 Texas Tech this Saturday. Updates to come.

Typical terrible hotel WiFi prevented me from getting this up sooner, but my recap video from today's 23-13 loss for the #CUBuffs is up over on YouTube.

What comes next for Deion Sanders' team after a loss in the Big 12 opener?

WACO, Texas — Deion Sanders saw an offense in need of inspiration.

At halftime of the #CUBuffs' at Baylor, that meant a change at quarterback.

Coach Prime isn't giving up on Julian Lewis, but the Buffs have an uncertain QB situation once again. Story ⬇️

QB Julian Lewis benched in Colorado’s 23-13 loss at Baylor
Deion Sanders saw an offense in need of inspiration. In Colorado’s 23-13 loss at Baylor on Saturday at McLane Stadium, that meant a change at quarterback.

Final: Baylor 23, Colorado 13

The #CUBuffs are 0-1 in conference play for the 3rd time in 4 years under Deion Sanders. QB Julian Lewis got benched. Will he play again for the Buffs? The offensive struggles are hard to ignore and next up is Texas Tech at home.
September 26, 2026 at 7:48 PM
Final in San Antonio: UTSA 59, Colorado State 45

Offense looks more than fine even without QB Hauss Hejny as K'Saan Farrar throws for nearly 350 yards, but #CSURams defense has major, major issues and gives up nearly 550 yards and allows 8 scoring drives. Next up: vs. Oregon St.
September 26, 2026 at 7:39 PM
That'll probably do it. Dave Aranda trusts his kicker and Rhett Armstrong has just enough leg for a 54-yard field goal that gives Baylor a 23-13 lead with 4:28 to go. #CUBuffs going to have pull a rabbit out of the hat offensively.
September 26, 2026 at 7:24 PM
#CUBuffs go three-and-out after the Baylor TD. Bears have all the momentum and the ball back with 8:04 left.
September 26, 2026 at 7:15 PM
Touchdown, Baylor

Both offenses have finally woken up. DJ Lagway finds Jadon Porter for a 33-yard score to retake the lead, 20-13, with 9:02 left. A quick 5-play, 65-yard drive for the Bears. First bad drive of the day for the #CUBuffs defense.
September 26, 2026 at 7:11 PM
Touchdown, Colorado

Isaac Wilson to Joseph Williams from 17 yards out to cap a really impressive 12-play, 95-yard drive. #CUBuffs and Baylor are somehow tied at 13 with 11:04 left. Isaac Wilson hasn't been perfect, but 10-19 for 129 yds and a TD is solid.
September 26, 2026 at 7:01 PM
END 3Q: Baylor 13, Colorado 6

An ugly, ugly game if you're a fan of offense, but the #CUBuffs aren't out of this yet. Even with a QB change and an inept offense, they enter the final 15 with a chance to win this one. Defense has played great, holding Baylor to 201 yards.
September 26, 2026 at 6:52 PM
Give the #CUBuffs defense credit: it has bounce back and done its part today. Offense gets another shot here after another Baylor punt, but once again it's tough starting field position at the 5-yard line.
September 26, 2026 at 6:50 PM
Field goal, Colorado

Elliott Arnold with his second make of the day, this one from 46 yards out. #CUBuffs down 13-6 with 2:17 left in the third quarter.
September 26, 2026 at 6:42 PM
Another thing I forgot to mention: LT Bo Hughley was benched for true freshman Xavier Payne. #CUBuffs
September 26, 2026 at 6:40 PM
#CUBuffs defense bends but doesn't break yet again, but Baylor knocks through its second FG of the game to take a 13-3 lead midway through the 3rd quarter. Won't matter much with the way the offense is playing, though.
September 26, 2026 at 6:23 PM
nvm UTSA just returned the ensuing kickoff back for a TD. Rams down 42-28.
#CSURams not dead yet at the Alamodome. Defense forces a punt to begin the second half and offense goes 66 yards on 5 plays, capped by 1-yard score on fourth-and-goal. A 59-yard run by Mel Brown on the first play made the drive.
