<div class="field field-field-text"><p>At least 81 US military aircraft, including fighter jets and drones, have been lost or damaged during Operation Epic Fury, Washington’s military campaign against Iran, according to a report released Monday by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO).</p>
<p>The nonpartisan agency estimated that the cost of aircraft losses stood between $1.9 billion and $3.3 billion as of 1 August. </p>
<p>The report adds to the growing financial toll of the US-Israeli war on Iran, which began on 28 February and has continued into its eighth month without a lasting ceasefire.</p>
