Is there a specific term for taking chipper innocent music (Lot of times its old timey sounding) and playing it against a horror/terrible scene where it just gets permanently ruined of its innocence due to the association?

Sadly the trip to Spain was a bust but at least I get to see the same beans in 2 weeks, sans an eclipse. And apparently Megaplex is just around the corner o: !!

Welp, I went into Project Hail Mary blind, knowing nothing about it other than it involved space & Ryan Gosling shenanigans. I left feeling satisfied & with that stupid emotional lump in throat.
