this is exactly why we need to start to make more clear boundaries between "preservation" and "availability".
it's good that there are companies making (older) games playable on new systems.
But that's not really fully preserving anything, is it?

my radical gaming opinion is that id rather see 10-15 year old games getting their source code release rather than be republished by some bloodsucking ghoul publisher like a limited run games. i dont feel its preservation if you effectively just release a rom in a launcher for $25 on a new system
