A dark money campaign is offering influencers $1,500 per post to attack Abdul El-Sayed and support Haley Stevens.

Same exact dollar figure that was paid to attack @katmabu.bsky.social (Nobody ever found out who was paying for that campaign.)

Gross, lazy and above all cynical shit.

Democrats have stopped talking about climate. Strategists say that's smart—but they're wrong.

Making climate a top priority wins votes, and barely 1 in 10 voters will vote against climate action.

It is parallel to why I am always uncomfortable with this argument that because Republicans flagrantly violate the rules that Dems should do it too. You cannot use abuser tactics without becoming an abuser yourself. It just doesn’t work that way.

9 GW is flat out insane. If you assume 80% utilization, that's 56 TWh of electricity. That's more than 26 states used in 2024.
Backers of the massive data center campus say at full buildout it will consume 9GW of electricity, more than double the entire state of Utah’s current energy use.
They say they intend to burn fossil fuels on site to make all that electricity.
Box Elder County will vote on the proposal Monday.
