Back to work after 12 days off saw a classic Waterloo & Rounder combo. Overcrowded heading into London & got caught up in a trespass incident in the St Denys area.

Today I had a little trip to Margate to meet a friend and to ride the route 69 Open Top "Thanet Explorer" bus (runs between Ramsgate & Minnis Bay via Broadstairs & Margate). Beautiful weather for it as well.

Staying overnight in Bradford last night allowed an early morning trip to Marsden to have a gentle stroll along the Huddersfield Narrow (& Broad) Canals towards Huddersfield & Cooper Bridge (where the canal meets the Calder and Hebble Navigation). Low water levels at times!

A couple photos from a walk from Mossley along the former Micklehurst Loop line towards Diggle, with a Manchester bound TPE 185 and the rear of a freight towards Huddersfield from I presume a newish footbridge replacing a foot crossing (near Uppermill Junction)

As I finished at midday yesterday, I decided to have a random walk from Dean to Downton, first part shadowing the remains of the Salisbury & Southampton Canal (featuring some cows) and the second part shadowing the route of the Salisbury - Ringwood railway.
