In this paper we make the case for measuring social media use at the level of naturally occurring sessions (i.e., beginning when the app/site is opened and ending when it is closed).

What a lively way to start #ICA2026 tonight at the reception! Tomorrow, we will start with two top paper sessions in Bluebell at CTICC2, Level 3 (12pm, then at 3pm). We also have a poster session at the ground level of CTICC1 from 1.30pm to 2.45pm!
